A Playful Approach to Counselling
Healing through connection, creativity, and play.
Sometimes "just talking about it" isn't enough, and our bodies need to process and heal through movement and creative expression! I integrate Drama Therapy and Play Therapy techniques into my counselling practice for clients of all ages. I'll meet you where you're at with empathy, curiosity, and playful creativity. My therapeutic approach is person-centred, 2SLGBTQ+ affirming, trauma-informed, and somatic.
I offer in person and virtual playful counselling sessions for adolescents (14+) and adults (18+) and in-person only play-based therapy sessions for children (3+)
Walk & Talk Therapy by the Sea
Playful healing in motion, grounded by nature.
The ocean has a way of inviting us to breathe a little deeper and soften into the present moment. During Walk & Talk Therapy, we'll explore what's on your mind while walking by the sea, allowing movement, fresh air, and the natural rhythms of the coast to support the healing process. Sometimes a change of scenery opens the door to new perspectives.
I currently offer walk & talk therapy for adults (18+) in two locations: Crystal Crescent Beach in Sambro, and Point Pleasant Park in Halifax.

I'll encourage you to check in with your body and we will monitor your resistance and discomfort together. Therapy might feel uncomfortable sometimes, that does not necessarily mean we are a bad fit. Gradually expanding your window of tolerance may be a collaborative goal, but the process and the pace should feel manageable. You need to feel safe enough to open up, heal and transform.
